68,692 people evacuated from danger to date
86 people evacuated from danger this week
39 trips into deoccupied and frontline territories this week
Two weeks ago we mentioned the mass protests in Ukraine in response to the parliament’s decision to weaken the independence of country’s anti-corruption agencies. After 10 days of escalating, but peaceful and well organized demonstrations, the government backed down, passing counter-legislation which restored the independence of the agencies in question.
The ability of Ukrainian society to self-organize and advocate for its institutions with clarity and force is especially remarkable, given that the protests took place during a brutal war, in cities suffering daily airstrikes. This is a true testament of the Ukrainian determination to defend the country against tyranny both from abroad and from within: to become a true democracy, ruled by the will of its people.

Dobra Sprava Helps Red Cross with Evacuations
This week the Ukrainian Red Cross reached out to Dobra sprava with a request to evacuate 10 elderly people in their care from Dobropillya. The team set out at 3:00 a.m. and covered more than 1,180 miles in one day.
The evacuation was extremely difficult and dangerous. During the trip, Sasha, an elderly man, had heart trouble. The team had to find emergency medical help in the nearest town (Reshetylivka). Fortunately, everything worked out and everyone arrived safely. The 10 evacuated individuals are now staying in a former daycare center on the outskirts of Rivne. Thankfully, the local community welcomed them warmly, helping them with basic necessities and food.
Separately, the team also evacuated two sisters from Dobropillya, along with what they lovingly dubbed their “home zoo”. The “zoo” included one squirrel, five cats, two parrots, four hamsters, an aquarium with fish, eight guinea pigs, two chinchillas, and a large, fluffy Chow Chow which pooped in the van...
Dina’s Kremenchuk Center Is an Aid Hub
Dina’s team, Vilʹni lyudy, vilʹna krayina (Free People, Free Country) operates aid centers in five cities, including one in Kremenchuk that distributes more than just food. Thanks ato the team’s strong reputation and their physical office space, the center has become a trusted hub for receiving donated clothing and household goods from a Kyiv-based nonprofit, Kengerush. This week alone, the aid center received 3.5 tons of supplies.
While only people displaced in 2025 are eligible to receive the food and hygiene packages, which Ukraine TrustChain sponsors every other month, anyone displaced since 2022 can access donated clothes, toys, and baby items. Over 1,500 displaced families receive aid through the Kremenchuk office. Items not claimed in Kremenchuk are passed along to smaller towns in the region. None of this would be possible without your donations to Ukraine TrustChain. Your support has made the office and its expanded aid network a reality.
Help in Occupied Territories
