If you’ve seen the Current Time report about Natalia Bedich, the director of a dance school in Kharkiv, and wondered how you could help, you’ve come to the right place. Ukraine TrustChain and Natalia Bedych have partnered up to collect money for her dance studio called ARiRA. At the moment, the school provides lessons and opportunities for socialization and creative expression in person for 50 pupils, most of whom are displaced from front-line villages and lack the financial resources to pay regular studio fees.
Right now the goal is simply to get through the cold Kharkiv winter. ARiRA has been able to secure a performance hall for its activities, however maintaining comfortable temperature in the winter requires additional insulation and heating systems, which combined with heating costs presents a significant financial burden. Additional costs include: basic studio expenses, such as theater equipment and dance attire. Your support to ARiRA will be allocated to:
Heating through the end of the winter: $3,000
Upgraded electrical system, with backup power during outages: $1,500
Dancing shoes, costumes, theater/dancing equipment: $1,500
